Hola a todos,
Here again a little message from the Sunny South of Spain!
We have just experienced a Sherry tour with of course tasting several sherrys... fjoow... seems like the floor is dancing and the walls are bouncing, but it was really GOOOOOOD!!! And of course some tapas to neutralize it all... yeah.. right...
We are in Jerez de la Frontera, this is the ¨sherry region¨, it is a really nice and clean town and when you are here you just HAVE TO visit one of the Bodega´s, so we visited the Bodega of Tio Pepe, Gonzalez Byass. It´s pretty impressive to see how they make their Brandy and the tasting afterwards was even more interesting... ;-)
Tomorrow we will go to Cadiz, check out what´s happening there! And after Cadiz, we´re heading for Estepona, where we will stay in our beach hotel. Of course from there we will travel some more, but stay in the same hotel.
Talk to you sooooon, but then without alcohol in our blood... ;-)

P.S. When we were in Sevilla, we had a weird kind of dinner... I ate COLD almond soup, with scoops of melon and apple... I (Lydia) don´t even like almonds... but I was so amazed by the fact that they make soup of it, I just ordered... it was not really bad, but YUCK... I really don´t like almonds, but it was refreshing!!!! Talking about Sevilla, this is really a beautiful city. We liked Plaza Espana, very, very much!!!

Hier is het echt rot weer!!! Regent de hele dag en koud. We zijn blij als we maandag kunnen vertrekken. Leuk te horen dat het zo mooi is. Zien het wel als jullie terug zijn en mischien tot in Portugal. -
